Well I have Lebanese Christian Arab (Thomas) blood about 5 generations ago in my background and my ex-wife's parents are Lebanese and Syrian Christians who migrated to Brasil in the 50s and hence my 2 daughters are in essence half Maronite. Granted, nearly all Lebanese Christians are virulently opposed to the Islamists but with my varied Arab genetic connections I readily admit that I too live in a glass house.

BTW, I am a hardcore right wing near extremist and I can tell you that the actions of Tim McVeigh sure gave me plenty to be ashamed about. I knew the second that atrocity happened that it was the work of someone further to the right of myself. A twisted version no doubt but his insane actions sure gave me pause for reflection. I would surmise that many "moderate" Muslims who have shared the same point of view of the Radicals now have similar egg on their collective faces.
