Ending the 30-year war over abortion: Kupelian invites 'pro-choicers' to face reality
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | Tuesday, January 21, 2003 | David Kupelian
There will always be controversy over early ("first trimester") abortions, simply because not everyone shares the conviction that an embryo that young is really human. But these late-term atrocities, which speak of an incredible cruelty justifiable by no imaginable standard, revulse even those who purport to defend them. That's why they're so upset when actual photos or other evidence of what happens in a late-term abortion reaches the public.

Written in white heat after Sept. 11, Oriana Fallaci's "The Rage and the Pride" - since expanded into a book and excerpted today in The Post - has been the subject of lawsuits and outraged condemnation by politically correct critics in Europe.
It's also a huge bestseller.

"Firstly people need to feel safe and secure living in the West Midlands without a gun. There is no reason at all for any law abiding member of the community to carry a weapon in a public place. "
In that case he should put his money where his mouth is,and melt down into scrap ALL the guns held by his police dept, and he should do this in public so everybody knows none of the cops have any guns. In short, lead by example.
The Air Force considers the Airborne Laser a "transformational" weapon that could revolutionize missile defense. Missiles will lose their value if they can be shot down with the speed of light on the heads of those who are launching them.

This is not "alarmist" rhetoric...it is Marxist rhetoric, plain and simple.
These people couldn't care less about the environment, you, their own families (children included).
At its core, "social justice" is another tired revolutionary propaganda slogan for that most timeless element of society: thugs and criminals who seek to steal what others have earned honestly.

Writers and broadcasters friendly to the Democratic cause have already been provided talking points suggesting the war is about oil, not terrorism. “The talking points were developed before the end of last year and sent out to operatives and friendly media,” one Democratic consultant confided. “No Democratic member of Congress will question the President’s patriotism openly but we will use the media and other surrogates to raise doubts.”

Dave Schippers Comments on Prof. Scranton's "CLINTON 101" at U of Arkansas
dfu conversation with Dave Schippers | 1-29-03 | dfu
For the record, Schippers was a lifelong Democrat and had twice voted for Clinton. In a previous interview, he had told me that when Hyde called him to work on the case, he only expected to have a couple weeks of work. Schippers was "astounded by the amount of criminality" he discovered...
...It is easy to underestimate the power of the Juanita Broaddrick story. It is an absolute ace in the hole for us (which is precisely the reason for the media's failure to report it). Whenever Clinton defenders are confronted with the Juanita Broaddrick, they always respond either with silence or desperate evasion.

This is a great article right up until the very last line. The risk is that either North Korea goes under while clucthing a handful of nuclear weapons, or that it goes under clutching hundreds. The risk is also that they sell nuclear weapons to whoever can afford them, to keep their precious regime afloat.

One major address from this president, and all the Democratic fog built up in recent weeks immediately dissipated. After Tuesday night, the Pelosi-Daschles are going to have to find themselves a stronger fog-making machine.
This is an ongoing battle, but unlike the Klamath case, the people affected have little say in the matter. They can go to the BIA, or an Indian advocacy group if they like, but nothing will be done. That's because the environmentalist lobby is a lot stronger than the pro-Indian/Native American special interest lobby. Remember how hard the greens fought when Northwest tribes wanted to hunt a whale...
THE TRUE MOTIVATION BEHIND DEMOCRATS

Keep an ear open for the latest Dem talking point. I heard it a couple of times last night and I heard it again this morning on a local talk show from Dem Congressman Martin Sabo. They are hoping to scare Americans into thinking that if we go into Iraq there will be terrorist attacks all across our country. He also kept repeating that we were going in unilaterally...

The motivation of the conservatives when boycotting is simply to keep the "public square" from being so degraded that they can't protect their children from it - more of a public health issue than a freedom of speech issue. The lefties use of boycotts and slander is specifically designed to restrict freedom of political speech
