I have not missed his show for years and he doesn't sound ANY different to me at all. Keep it up Rush!!

Seriously, I don't get to listen that often and I tuned in the other day. It wasn't super obvious but his voice did sound lower. I could see how a gradual change might not be noticed. It seems from the postings above that it has been noticed by folks who don't get a chance to tune in all the time. BTW, you can check the record and see that I am not a Rush basher - I just thought this thread was curious given that I thought I noticed a slight change.

It may be that the years of Cigar smoke has changed his voice - at least that was one thought. Nonetheless, his message has not changed and I would not call him pompous as some posters did. He's Rush! He is what he is. I like him and I enjoy listening every day. I got my 18 year old interested too.
