Many people are afraid, and with good reason.

I've always found Christ and his teachings to be an antidote for fear and doubt.

After observing the current scene, it grieves me that Christianity is becoming a namby-pamby religion of fear and forgiveness for the unrepentant.

It's shocking.

I'm with you.

Key word being unrepentant. You are correct in that Jesus has been made into some squishy New Age hippy, where everything people do is all right with Him. That is a tragic mistake.

Name for me ONE person on this earth, who is a Christian who KNEW this was coming? There aren't any. God chose to keep it a secret from us. And it's not just a subtle sideline, it's IMPORTANT.

What do you think God needs....a single person to reveal this to us? He didn't. Or let me rephrase...if He DID, why aren't we HEARING about it? (Because no warning was necessary, according to God.) God is GOD. He doesn't need to EXPLAIN every action he takes or allows.

Did JOB know what was going to happen to him? Well DID HE? And how, exactly, did his friends respond? (Think Mr. Falwell and Mr. Robertson....)

God knew EXACTLY how His servants would respond...and they are doing exactly that.
