Wake up is the wrong phrase--try " Think about it"! Do you, gunnedah, honestly believe that your or my carrying a high falluting ID card is going to stop a pedophile, an illegal alien, an election problem, or criminals walking the street?" Show me where its been proven that registering a gun has stopped that gun from being used to commit a crime if the owner intended to commit a crime with that gun!

Think about IT--instead of a stupid piece of plastic 'protecting' us, how about putting our military along the border to stop the invasion of illegals? How about making the INS obey the law, rules and regulations already in place regarding people overstaying their visas, or allowing criminal elements in the country; How about allowing the states to find and correct this election wrong-doing? How about keeping pedophiles behind bars--forever--for harming our most precious assets, our children? DUH! Just think--if we did that we couldn't be infringing on a citizens' rights or freedoms or liberties!
Where do oyou get the idea that the "supreme Court would/could/does/will/can consist of 'lay people'....heaven help us! Imagine some liberal 'lay' people on the court....try an Alex Baldwin, or Barbra Streisand! Egads!
