Crosby, Stills & Nash were on Jay Leno this week. It did my heart good to see them saluting McCain and talking patriotic. (Nash became a citizen in the '80s.) Anyway, they seemed like many of us, having swung from left in our youth to right as we matured. The same folks who sang about "four deed in Ohio" at an earlier time in our history were singing about the stars and stripes. Guess this really is bringing us together as a country...
I wondered why Young wasn't with them. Then I saw him on the "tribute". I was disappointed.... He seemed so stuck in the '60s -- still.
Petty was great! Loved that snear and defiant look he had!
I agree with another poster about not knowing who a lot of them were, and there should have been names at the bottom when they came on for their numbers. Also think Reba should have sung instead of just being on the phones.
