Apparently you didn't know "free speech" does not protect Maher's career from going down the toilet. Rather, it protects our right to press the handle.

"Free speech" has to do with restricting government--not private citizens. Can you can point out anywhere where the government has restricted Maher's "right" to puke his bilge all over America's living rooms?
