Hillary Panned for Sour Demeanor during Bush SpeechHockey fans at Philadelphia's Rangers-Flyers game Thursday night were so enthralled with President Bush's speech that they actually forced the cancellation of the game's third period to continue watching on the arena's Jumbotron.
But seated in the House chamber, New York Senator Hillary Clinton was rolling her eyes, looking bored and remained seated as her colleagues gave Bush one standing ovation after another.
Friday morning her disengaged demeanor was being roundly panned by talk radio hosts everywhere.
"You know why she reacted that way," WABC's Curtis Sliwa told his partner Ron Kuby."She just saw her hopes to run for president next time around go up in smoke."
Down radio dial in New York, nationally syndicated talker Don Imus was even harder on the former first lady.
"She was disgraceful," Imus told his partner Charles McCord. "She looked irritable, rolling her eyes and talking."
Imus didn't care much for Sen. Clinton's post speech comments either. "I mean, she was going out of her way to point out how she'd spent the entire week down at ground zero, which is not true, by the way. But I think we know what that's all about."
Imus then turned his ire towards Mrs. Clinton's husband. "I just thank God that he's not still the president, that's all, because we didn't have to endure the self aggrandizing display of lip-biting and head wagging and 'I love you' to some bimbo in the balcony."

For security reasons, the VP,House Majority Leader and Four Justices were not there I'll bet at least three of the four Justices volunteered to stay away - Ginsberg, Souter and Stevens.

TRS: This was posted by Silly at the NY location:
NY FReepers who DISAPPEARED from FreeRepublic.com the moment of the tragedy...
I've listed the most alarming one first, then so on:
thefactor: Posted twice at 10:07 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, watching in horror as "the tower" went down, describing chaos, and asking for prayer. See this thread:
http://www.freerepublic.com/fo rum/a3b9e0a1165f1.htm.
Read his/her posts #112 and #119 VERY CAREFULLY and tell me whether you too think this sounds like an EYEWITNESS in the SECOND TOWER. We should check the timeline of events that day: What time did the first and second towers collapse? This FReeper also lives in NYC, according to previous posts. Young male.
Attillathehon: posted from the middle of Manhattan at 9:51 AM Eastern on Tueday; nothing since.
PBRSTREETGANG: a very frequent poster who last posted at 8:41 a.m. Eastern Tuesday, Sept. 11, and NOTHING since. Had posted the day before, then again moments before the initial strike of the North Tower.
stanz: Slightly less alarming, but concern is warranted. Very frequent poster; last posted Monday night. Spends 98 percent of his time in Manhattan, lives in NJ. Might mean that Ground Zero is his/her stopping off point on the PATH train from NJ...
NOTE: These are all active FReepers, not people who haven't posted in months. Do you know these FReepers?
This is me (PB) talking now: nymuggs also has not evidently posted in a while. Let me just say that my DSL is still down, so that could be what the problem is with these freepers.
Best,
Pharmboy

I am also sure that Chuck Schumer like many other Jews in this country are delighted that the US is going to take some of the heat off Israel--when Barak's tactics nosedived their hopes for peace were dashed--many American Jews thought that Netanyahu was too militant so you can imagine that they are not comfortable with Sharon--now with the US involved the first real opportunity for a lasting peace in the Middle East is possible IMHO--this war will rearrange alot of regimes and players over there and I suspect that Israel will benefit--suddenly the entire civilized world sees Israel as their ally united by their determination to stop a common enemy--BTW Schumer's 16 year old daughter was in school a few blocks from the WTC--he is a serious New Yorker--lives in Brooklyn not too far from me--I think he sees GW as his hero/ big brother!!!

She is surrounded and she has no way out. IF she runs for prez., she's gonna get her fat a** handed to her on a platter by President Bush. IF she runs for senator again...and Rudy decides to run again....she's sour because she's being checked and check mated in ONE fell swoop.

Now, Now, cut poor Hillary some slack here. She just found out, because Bill told her, that the bikini he bought was not for Chelsea afterall. She has to find some way to become "victim" again.

Hillary will end up in the unmarked grave of discredited liars.

"Do you suppose the commie Hillary forgot her turban last night?"
Was it a blue turban by any chance?
To: Queen Elizabeth of Iowa
"My brother told me he saw her trying to work a line of relatives outside the dig, and not one would unfold their arms to shake her hand."
Her secret service agents probably ordered everyone in advance not to make eye contact with her.

Hillary Horribilus was her most rude and hateful self, maybe she's scared that some of that terrorist front money is going to be traced to her and Bill...remember President Bush said he was going to get cooperation from banks all over the world? "Know Your Customer" might take on some new meaning for her now..
To: Phantom Lord
Maybe we should have left Thomas and others at home....if the supreme court justices were to be attacked.
