BRIDGEPORT Conn. (AP) - A Juvenile Court judge has ordered that Waterbury Mayor Philip Giordano undergo a paternity test to determine if he fathered the brother of a girl he is accused of sexually assaulting, The Hartford Courant reported.
Giordano was to be arraigned Thursday on federal charges he enticed two female cousins, ages 9 and 11, into a sexual relationship. In a separate proceeding, the mother of one of the girls was also expected to be arraigned on charges she provided the mayor access to the children.
