Even if you throw out that remark, he still indicated that terrorists that slit the throats of women, that kill civilians, that kill women and children are brave.

Bill has just finally gone too far and offended those that count, the advertisers. You don't say on national TV that the military is cowardly because they shoot missiles or indicate that men are brave just because they are willing to sacrifice their lives. He chose to ignore the fact that those brave men slit the throats of stewardesses to get control of the plane, killed innocent passengers and killed 6000 civilians.

There was nothing at all brave about what the terrorists did or do.

I hope ABC has the sense to realize that Maher is not worth the bad press given to ABC because of this show. It just reinforces the fact to me that I don't find what I'm looking for on ABC anymore. In the past it was my favorite station.

Bravery is defined by culture. What is defined as bravery by one culture might be considered a routine duty by another. As defined by our culture the acts performed were monstrous.

Do you think men who fire missles from hundreds or thousands of miles away that kill innocnet civilians, including innocent women and children are brave?
