I watched his show last Thursday and Friday (I seldom do, since he makes me sick) and his attitude has taken a 90 degree turn. He was choking up, slightly tearing up and in a half-a@#&d way he sort of apologized if he had offended people. Frankly, humility doesn't suit him. Too many of us remember his true smarmy, mean-spirited, sarcastic side and it makes it difficult to feel sorry for him now, particularly because he had always stuck up for Klintoon. I hate giving his show ratings, but I'll be watching tonight to see if he's still on. Frankly, I would love to see the show remain on the air with a new conservative host (Mary Madeline or Kellyann Fitzpatrick perhaps?), at least that would better befit the title of "Politically Incorrect". I doubt that weenie Michael Eisner will fire Maher, but it would be a awesome thing if he did. BTW, just thought I'd throw this in (quoting L.A. Radio Talk Show Host/Libertarian Larry Elder) "if Bill Maher is a Libertarian, than I'm Rasputin...."
