Mohamed El-Amir alias Mohammed Atta, a "lovely person" that "moved around the campus like a fish in water"
The Rector of campus of Hamburg, Germany, Professor Machule, described Mohamed El-Amir as a "lovely person" (liebenswerter Mensch), that "moved around the campus" (where he studied from 1992 till 1999) "like a fish in water".
The prayers room (probably the only one in a state engineer college in Germany), was created follwoing the efforts of Mohamed El-Amir.

Talking about signs and portents is paganistic and supersticiuous to boot. The attack was NOT a sign from GOD that we. as a nation had deserted HIM. If you want to believe that, you are little better than the Haitian who believes in voodoo spells , or the mambers of the Taliban and Osama bein Laden's minions who believe that ALLAH is using them to punish the infidel.
If GOD is using this attack against us, for being immoral , then WHY didn't he send all kinds of attacks against those oh so pious people in Salem, Mass. who killed people , in HIS name, for being whitches, when they were no such thing ? How about the War of 1812 ? Did GOD sennd the Brits to burn down the White House because American had deviated from the path ? How about when , as a child, I got such a terrible case of chicken pox, that I almost died from it? Was that a punishment from GOD, as well ? I was all of 11 and a VERY good girl.
If you look for GOD in all the wrong places, you'll wind up seeing Satan.
