Yet if the argument is that said nuclear war would happen because of God's judgement, why would a just and loving God wait until 35 million innocents had been slaughtered? Does not God care about each and every one?

I believe He does. I also believe He will deal with this evil very soon, and He won't need nukes to do it. Nukes are man's "justice." His will be far worse. In the meantime, we are the ones He has chosen to work through to check evil.

Abortion and infanticide have been practiced since time immemorial. How come GOD didn't just nuke the earth over and over and over again ? HE destroyed with the flood, HE destroyed Sodom. HE hasn't destroyed anything else.
