The issue is not one of which rights they have. The issue raised by Bush is that he respects their faith equally as he respects any faith. If they fail to honor the Son, they do not honor the Father. This honor is based upon faith. If one respects another faith then one lacks faith in the Son hence lacks honor of the Father.
Now if Bush lacks the courage to stand for a faith in God by the Son, simply so he doesn't incur dissent, why would he now make an ultimatum that all who oppose us will be treated as terrorists?
If he is righteous, then wouldn't he first be equally as resolute regarding faith in God?
I am a Jew. I believe that Jesus was just a man. I love, honor and worship God alone. I obviously do not believe that one must honor Jesus in order to honor God. What your sentences here say is that anyone who fails to acknowledge Jesus as God lacks faith in and dishonors God the Father. You further seem to believe that the President elected by the people, and serving as the head of the executive branch of our government, should favor your religion over mine. Tell you what. You refrain from imposing your religious beliefs on me, and I will return the favor.
