I am in disbelief at the post speech commentary that I'm hearing from the likes of Williams, Emanuel, Fineman, Rivera, Zuckerman, etc.

They are giving the President extremely high marks.......terms such as Churchillian are being tossed about.

To be honest....I'm stunned at their comments....not that their praise is not valid, but, rather, that they are actually uttering these platitudes, out loud, live, on air.

I am so darn happy, and proud, and relieved, and grateful to God that I can't think of anything to say.

I did have one thought. Through that entire miserable month after the election, we learned to persevere, even when it looked like we might have the election stolen. Through all of that President Bush was calm, and as the days went by we got braver and bolder. By the time he was finally declared the winner we learned what it was like to stick with something and gain a worthy victory.

We needed to learn that, for the battles that face us now. God does move in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform.
