On NPR, Daniel Schorr wondered a little during the run-up BEFORE the speech whether or not Bush was up to the job. Typical of his idiotic "commentary." AFTER the speech, However, Schorr praised Bush to the skies. He was really bowled over. He said that Bush said everything that needed to be said, and he couldn't think of a thing he had left out. And that he did it in magnificent style. It's the first intelligent thing I've every heard Schorr say. It's almost as if he had been born again and seen the light.

NPR had matched liberal and conservative commentators afterward, and they both had nothing but praise as well. Extraordinary, when you consider how repeatedly NPR went out of its way to undercut Bush at every opportunity last week, with snide, condescending comments.

I just turned O'Reilly off because the two commentators he chose to critique the speech were Robert Reich and Pat Buchanan.

I didn't even think twice about switching to another station.

I can.
As a united nation he could have mentioned that pursuant to an executive order, PC is suspended indefinitely and Americans anywhere are free to express their patriotism by wearing or displaying the flag any way they see fit.

And that the safety of the citizens is more important than stressing over "hurting the feelings" of foreigners.
