My suggestion is you all find a good strong church and join. You will find a lot more comfort in the gospel of Christ and His Spirit than a bottle of booze.
Actually, I am a member of a good strong church, but I would like to extend my friendship to a larger group.
I certainly don't condone heavy drinking, or finding comfort in booze. The purpose of our group is to be friends. That's all. No political agenda, no spiritual or religious agenda, no personal agenda. Just friendship.
I hope this isn't a problem for you, and I hope you won't attack us for doing so.
