"Infinite Justice" offensive to Muslims

I just heard Donald Rumsfeld on the radio answering reporters' questions, and one reporter asked if the operation in the middle east would really be named "Infinite Justice."
When Rumsfeld replied that he had 'heard' the name, but that it might not be the actual name of the action, the reporter replied that he had spoken to Muslim clerics, and that "infinite justice" was offensive because "only Allah can provide infinite justice."
To which Rumsfeld replied that we would not name it anything that might be offensive!

"Infinite Justice" sounds too messianic. I would prefer something more straightforward, like "Operation Kick Yer Ass."

Infinite Justice is a good name.
It may well be carefully calculated to offend, but in a not so obvious (smoked turban) kind of way.
Rush mentioned how Bush 41 used to pronounce speak of Hussein as Sodom--just using his first name and pronouncing it in such a way that it translates to shoeshine boy.

The first thing I heard when I woke up this morning was Bush saying, "Islam is a peaceful religion!" I turned off the radio and prayed that God will have mercy and protect this nation built by men who knew Him, and who were in complete opposition to the insane and inane teachings of Mohammed. There used to be a computer program that for operations of both training and real world nature would generated random combinations of words from a master list of high and low sounding words.

I believe the first deviation from this was "Just Cause." One old operation, "market garden," highlights a random combination that had nothing to do with its purpose.

Just Cause was named for its PR value. That was a decision I agreed with. However, I also know theologians. I'm sure Islamic theologians are just as capable as nitpicking things into the absurd just the same way as Christian theologians do.
