So this island disappeared just in the last 100 years or so? Has to be, since we all know about global warming, and how the raising sea levels are caused by cars.

I think Atlantis was a work of fiction that ended up a legend. In my mind it kind of rates right up there with the face on Mars. :)

This seems pretty speculative to me. It would be fun to do an ocean floor archaelogical survey to see if there are artifacts or evidence of construction, but that's true of just about every place on the continental shelves today.

An absolutely incredible find. The only scientific explaination for such a sealevel rise is the presence of SUVs over 9000 years ago. Simply incredible!

Just wondering here, but as the Ice Caps are melting (according to global warming theory) the sea levels are rising. So in the ICE age, conversely, the sea levels would be lower, no?
