THE GUARDIAN is a cheap left-wing rag cater smoldering angry with the sight of Tony Blair and New Labour backing the United States unconditionally in the war against terror. It's television comrade is the BBC. Why doesn't Blair defund the BBC for once and all?

Just a data point: So far as I can tell, the BBC world news service was the only english language news source in the US that gave an extensive report of the assisination of Ahmed so and so, the leader of the Nothern Resistance to the Taliban in Afghanastan on _Monday_ night before the attacks. Most US news services either didn't pick up the story until the Northern Resistance publically admitted he had died in the attack. Before that they either didn't know or they didn't consider it newsworthy.
