War from 15,000 feet is rather cowardly, if you think about it.
Oh it is, is it ArcLight? You stupid f**king moron.
When was the last time you flew a fighter jet over hostile territory against a foe armed with Stinger missiles?
You never have, obviously, and if you were even a passenger on such a mission you'd be soiling your pink panties.

Agreed, if you state ALL the facts. Fact is, these guys believe that as martyrs, they go direct to heaven where they are attended by 72 virgins (along with other enjoyments). Believe the kamakazi pilots had some belief about becoming Gods through their sacrifice. Somehow, I don't think such thoughts occupy the minds of our F-16 pilots...

It has nothing to do with offending. It has to do with the fact that the U.N. and all the other whiny nations that don't like to do what has to be done will get together and do their best to make life miserable for us with sanctions etc.
Couple that with the fact that we're dealing with a religion that supersedes borders in fanaticism and even those dying as a result of saddams treachery would be howling for our blood like a bunch of rabid animals.
That we could kill saddam and his henchmen but save millions of innocent lives wouldn't matter to the nutjobs.

I didn't finish my thought. I think D'Sousa was telling us that we should be aware of their attitude as warriers and take what happened seriously and not dismiss what they did as a one time thing. They will conduct their warfare as they see fit at whomever and where ever they can and they believe it to be courageous. To ignore or attempt to diminish that attitude will be to our peril.
Make no mistake though about where I stand. The actions of those passengers on Flight 93 demonstrates the true meaning of courage.

I've yet to hear a coherent response to two posts in which I clarified my original agreement with Mr. Maher. Anyone notice them, or is it just more fun to rant?In matters of opinion, there is not much point in beating a dead horse.
Unless one enjoys beating dead horses...

War from 15,000 feet is rather cowardly, if you think about it. This is an asinine statement the first time I read it and it continues to be.
It's the worldview of a child or an academic.
It's like arguing that there's more virtue in whitling yourself a house completely with a pocketknife because it took 10 000 times longer to do.

Miller Beer is the next corporate sponsor of this show that needs to have the gonads to drop sponsorship. I'm new here (at least to posting) so would appreciate help in getting the Freep of Miller going. How do we get ahold of them?

Some of us don't even flag our donations to our screen name . . . I'm sure there are people who are totally anonymous, and I admire that. I was just trying to avoid getting replies like, "Well I see YOU didn't donate anything!"

Maybe this is a guy thing.... But why would any guy want 72 virgins?

Maybe this is a guy thing.... But why would any guy want 72 virgins? Temporary insanity?

FINALLY got through . . . on my fifth try, after six and a half minutes.

I believe that during an interview with Larry King he said that "he was an atheist and proud of it!" Then that is even further proof of what an idiot he is. His countrymen are being blown to bits and his self-denied religious and ethnic kin(in Israel) have been feeling the heat for decades and he keeps his head still stuck in the sand or actually more likely up his arse.
He's an offense to atheists everywhere:>)

If anyone is the coward its osama who gets his nutso's to do his dirty work..and for Bill Layer you can join his group
YO OSAMA REST IN PIECES !!!
To: A Vast RightWing Conspirator
Cutting the throat of a small woman or threatening to do so to control group of people is not courage. Having no fear because your insane is not courage.
Confronting someone with a weapon when you don't have one is courageous.

Aren't UPS the ones who buckled under the anti-self-defense pressure and stopped shipping firearms, while Fed-Ex still does ?
That's 2 for Fed-Ex; 0 for UPS in my book.
To: jern
Let freedom ring! They should have boycotted him when he called Bush a "lying sack of sh*t".
To: jern, Bill Maher of All Base Cowards Network, Osama bin Hidin' (cowardly)
Thanks to all here for all links to FedEx and ABC--have responded to all.
To the one hiding under alias ArcLight, have spent much time in prepublication prep for Aid and Comfort and accounts of our people from the site nampow and would wish upon you and Bill Maher adjacent cells, racking up hundreds of days being beaten by the real brave heroes of Jane Fonda.
God Speed to innocent victims, God Bless heroes like our air crews and our Todd Beamers, and a thousand degrees of fire for every perp of the 911 cowardly crime from lowest mule to the highest psychopath.
Every perp a corpse.
