Hard to do once all the civilian agencies have been disarmed, eh not? I fear whichever way we wiggle, the only result will be further erosion of our rights. Additionally, I disagree with Cheney's position that it is justifiable to employ "unsavory" characters. Isn't that what the Romans did when they called in mercenaries and consequently lost their Empire? (It's that erosion from within that gets you every time.)

I'm not aware of this being a problem. From MY point of view there are too damn many gooberment clerks being armed,while the gooberment is trying to disarm American citizens.

Here is something we agree on. We need to watch the right as closely as we watch the left when it comes to this. Both seek total political and cultural domination.

Not me! I've always believed in using the best tool available for the job. Then again,I have been called a "unsavory character" myself,so I might be a little biased.
