Pat has always been Pro Life! Pat consistently said pro life was his first priority regardless of the parties platform. Now the party has met his standards which they would have if he had been ellected, then becoming undisputed leader of the party.

He most certainly did not. In fact he backed off several positions. I remember the flame wars which insued in which we were saying "told you so!" after it was reported he would "still hold the views" but back off a little on his rhetoric.
