Some more words from Jim Robinson
A FReeper asked on another thread last night:
So what is the policy of this site?
It would appear that any criticism of the CIA, NSA, FBI and US foreign policy and covert activities are no longer permitted.
Jim Robinson's reply
No, I probably cannot articulate the policy. At least not very well, and not at this time. The policy is developing. I dislike the CIA, NSA, FBI and US foreign policy just as much as the next guy. I think most of the Federal ABC agencies are basically unconstitutional and are way out of control and I agree that our screwed up foreign policy got us into this mess in the first place. I also recognize that our agencies have been jerked around to the extreme under a series of flip flopping administrations over the last 50 years or so. I sincerely wish they could be abolished and a new foreign policy that makes sense could be established and that new and constitutional agencies could be installed in their place to gather intelligence and defend our national security. However, all of my pet peeves died on 9/11/01. We are now at war. Our foreign policy and our agencies have failed us miserably, however, we are now going to be depending on them for our very right to continue breathing. Our enemy is here amongst us. There is no telling when or where or what with they are going to strike next. This is NOT the time for us to be hashing our past grievances with these agencies. We now have to get our act together and get it together quickly. George Bush and his people need to start firing the idiots who have been running the show and start putting good people in charge and instituting sensible policies. We are quickly mobilizing for war. Our offensives could start within days. And when they do, you can bet there will be hell to pay all around the globe, including on our own soil. I am afraid that the WTC was not the end of our losses, and may not even be the worst. I pray I am wrong. I am also afraid that there are many people on this board and all around the country who don't even realize that we are going to war (or perhaps don't want to admit it) and or do not realize the seriousness of this situation we find our selves in. All I can say at this time is we need to concentrate on building our defenses and offensive capabilities. We do not have a lot of time to dwell on who screwed the pooch. But we do need to put the right guys in charge and kick them in the ass. And we need to do it now (IMHO).
