Lately it has been taken over by our religious fanatics condeming their religious fanatics. It would be nice if there was a topic of just "Religion" for these posts so rational political discussion would not get bogged down by idiots quoting the bible at each other.

Bull! Religious fanatics do it all the time all over the place. Keep your God and your theology to yourself and I will respect that. Try to shove it down my throat and you have another issue.

The difference between radical Islam and radical Christianity is just a matter of degree, not substance. Both are intolerant, hateful, spiteful, closed minded fictions that lead to this ultimate conclusion.
