I don't buy into collectivism. I'm not guilty for your sins and I'll condemn any creature that seeks to punish me for actions or choices which are not mine. Abortion is a violation of rights perpetrated by the woman who seeks it and the butchers who perform it.

Normally I would agree with you on this..but some sins that are tolerated in a culture cover all of us..abortion,and homosexuality are two of them.We license the doctors that preform them,we pay for them with our tax or insurance dollars, our courts punish those that proclaim life, our media applauds and promotes them...so just by living here we participate...in some ways homosexuality is also become a corporate sin..we fund ads that appear to approve of it,we have court decisions that show acceptance of it,heck we even let them adopt children..the fruit of that sin isnt confined just to those that commit sodomy...it has "crossed"into the general population..

There is nothing new about a culture being judged for the sin of some that live within a nations borders...why should we consider ourselves exempt from Gods judgement on our land..."innocent" people are frequently the victim of someone elses sin..there is nothing new here only the numbers and the fact it happened on TV

I'm wondering though -- given your sentiment, what are your thoughts on the men who assasinate abortion doctors? Do you endorse them, or condemn them?

It happens one Abortion Doctor was murdered in our area..Judgement belongs to God..not us..

What's with this "WE" stuff? I've NEVER voted for a candidate that I thought would endorse abortion. As for homosexuality, you won't see me promoting it. You might find me advocating for the individual rights of people who happen to be homosexuals, but never for "special" rights. Corporate guilt can only be justly applied when each and every member of the group is individually guilty. If any member of the group is individually innocent, then it would be gross travesty to condemn them through guilt by association. I know you sincerely want to believe in your God and to think that he lives up to all of the nice things the Bible says about Him, but it just isn't possible. Not if you want to hold firm to the doctrines of original sin and corporate guilt.

I'm not saying that bad things can't happen to good people in reality. They most certainly do. However, if you are claiming the existence of a just and loving creator God that is omniscient and omnipotent, then you have a problem of contradiction.

Under your rules, would not the murderer be the only one whose hands were washed clean of the blood of the aborted children? He was the only one with the courage to "not tolerate" the practice of abortion in this land.

One more thing... Does God recognize national boundaries? After all, we could end abortion in the United States, but there would still be China. Wouldn't we still be guilty in the global sense and subject to extermination for the sins of another nation?
