Now that you mention it, I oughtta be making you somewhat "uncomfortable" by making constant and heartfelt efforts to present the Gospel to you in the hopes that God will work in you a change of mind to believe it. Otherwise I'm not as good a friend as I should be.
Who knows, maybe Ben Franklin was never in his life "uncomfortable" with Whitefield in that he knew no matter how earnestly Whitefield sought to convert him, he could trust Whitefield never to attempt to coerce him.
One of these days we will have to discuss your consideration of McDowell's arguments for the validity of Gospel evidences. At least, given the fact that we both hold the "Non-Aggression"/"Work no ill to your Neighbor" Axiom to be sacrosanct, you and I would be able to converse about these matters without the usual "You're just gonna try to repress me" crapola which tends to permeate theist/deist/atheist threads (though we should probably elect to cordially excuse NAMMARINE from participation in such a thread)
And the way you present and what you present always fascinates me, even if I stick with my poor man's Ben Franklin stubborness and my poor man's Ethan Allen disbelief.

I really do have 7 ...and everone of them knew how to be selfish, have temper tantrums,to hit and in effect be totally self centered without anyone teaching them...where do you suppose that rebellious demanding behavior came from if we never taught it or modeled it?
