Thanks for the flag - excellent post. Sorry for the crosstalk but I don't get eddie's either/or stance when it's necessary to put out the fire and deal with the perp at the same time. I'd get it if the Pantload had just been an inept president; we'd do better to show solidarity and save criticism for later. The reality is, he was and remains a traitor.

Now is the time to expose what he's done (and the Pantsuit with him), now when Americans are grieving, smarting with anger, full of resolve and asking 'How did this happen?' Now is when people are most willing to look at what led to this catastrophe and demand justice at home, too.

The media calling Tuesday 9/11 "Attack on America" are only partly right. It is the most recent, the most visible attack, but your list shows that it's only the latest in a long string of attacks on America, many hidden and orchestrated from the White House.

To extend the burning house analogy, we must deal with the perpetrator as part of putting out the fire. We need to expose him, his accomplices, and their actions before the next fuses are lit. People need to know that a full inquiry into the last presidency must be made so that we can assess the damage and dangers before we rely on systems and structures that have been compromised.

Case in point: Watching C-Span this morning, I saw part of a hearing where the president of the American Steel Workers was explaining that American steel is being ruined by foreign imports encouraged by the gov't. for the past 5 years. The U.S. now imports more steel than it produces, which not only is wrecking steel workers but also diminishing our capacity to manufacture steel. Worse, this makes us dependent on foreign suppliers, which is a national security issue, especially now as we are preparing for war.

We just don't have the luxury of doing one thing at a time. Kinda like stopping one hijacked flight when others are still in the air--ya know?

Anyway, thanks again, and I hope this runs to Thread 2.
