May I suggest Catherine Pickstock's magnus opus, After Writing : On the Liturgical Consummation of Philosophy, not only is it an attack on Derrida and Foucoult (I spelled that wrong) but she concludes by saying Philosophy achieved its highest peak in the Tridentine Mass....

Thanks for the suggestion. I have heard of this along with Rosemann (sp?)of UD's postmodern reading. While on topic, I can recommend Victor White O.P.'s God and the Unconscious, Peter Milward's Shakespeare's Religious Background, and, despite the unorthodox-sounding title, Dom Aelred Graham's Zen Catholicism for anyone who is interested.
