You said it, bro! That word, "hero" characterizes, perfectly, the actions of these ordinary citizens, who did extrordinary acts. Their bravery, in all likelihood, saved thousands of innocent lives. These types of people are the real heroes of our world -- NOT the over-paid athlete or Hollywood celebrity. Hopefully, the wives, children, and family members of these brave individuals will find some measure of comfort, solace, and pride in the final acts of their loved ones -- solace that will last a lifetime.
