All About Rep. Lee the AppeaserRep. Barbara Lee has replaced Rep. Gary Condit as America's most despised California Democrat. Even the liberals on NPR Saturday night were clucking over Lee being the only member of Congress to vote against using force on terrorists.
Lee claimed she failed to support President Bush after relying on what she calls ``my moral compass, my conscience, and my God for direction.'' Wait until a terrorist bomb falls on that compass.
"There must be some of us who say, let's step back for a moment and think through the implications of our actions today - let us more fully understand its consequences," Lee said. "Far too many innocent people have already died."
Guess what, Babs: Terrororists are not "innocent."
How could she fail to stand with America in such an our of need? Simple: This former social worker, who has voted for years to weaken America by opposing military spending, represents the fanatically left-wing People's Republic of Berkeley.
"She thinks it's giving `the man' too much power, and it probably is," George Odom, an "incense salesman" near the University of California, told the Associated Press. "But if that's what it takes, then we have to do it."
Alameda County Republican Central Committee chairman Jim Hartman called Lee's vote one of "supreme poor judgment and gross egotism."
"She talks about her moral compass, but she should take a closer look at that compass because she's way, way off track," he told today's Oakland Tribune.
Even Oakland City Council President Ignacio De La Fuente was disappointed in Lee. "I disagree with her," he said. "I understand the feeling of not wanting to give too much power to Bush. But I don't think you can compare this to Vietnam. Our country has been attacked and thousands of innocent people are dead. ... We must show our unity at this moment of crisis."
On her Web site, Lee says, "Please do not hesitate to contact any of my offices if we can be of assistance." So here's how to contact "the Honorable Barbara Lee":
426 Cannon House Office Bldg.
Washington, D.C. 20515
Phone:(202) 225-2661
Fax:(202) 225-9817
She fails to include her e-mail address, but to e-mail her click: www.house.gov/writerep/, then select "California" under state and type in "94612" under ZIP.

Funny, I thought she was supposed to represent people in her district, not her own personal agenda. Of course, I am old-fashioned.

Well I see the dems have just lost THREE seats in the HOUSE AND SENATE!!!! ROFL Given that bitch Maxie Waters SHE may be NEXT on the LIST!!! ROFL HOPEFULLY Barney Frank will say something EQUALLY stupid!!!! ROFL
To: truther
How surprising can this be? She's an ex-social worker (in my long working experience with them, many are bleeding-hearts), and she represents the Berkeley area, breeding ground of liberals! She deserves all the negative response she's going to get for her bad decision.

This lady is a piece of dirt. She didn't even win her seat honestly. She represents the district of beloved socialist/leftist/ex-60s activist Ron Dellums, and when he retired a year or two ago he anointed her as his successor. She was like an aide in his office or something. Then all the mindless robotic Berkeley left-wing commies rushed out with these marching orders and obeyed, pulling the lever for Lee even though no one knew who the hell she was and she had virtually no qualifications or redeeming qualities whatsoever.
As we have discovered.

Sadly, she does represent people in her district, which includes Berkeley, the land of unreconstructed Marxists.

Maxie Waters SHE may be NEXT on the LIST!!!
Hey, seriously, cut her some slack. Even WATERS didn't vote against this resolution.

Typically demonRATic b***h! The only vote against declaring war on Japan in 1941 was made by a Congresswoman who happened to be a Republican. Nevertheless, it seems every crisis has one, or the other.

No offense; but by even commenting there is an assumption that this trash did something worthy of remark.

ROFL HOPEFULLY Barney Frank will say something EQUALLY stupid!!!! ROFL He already has. This should come back to haunt him.
An excerpt from an amendment he proposed to an appropriations bill to reduce the funding to the CIA:
Members have said, well, it is still a dangerous world even after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Yes, it is. But let us reject now the argument that says it is a more dangerous place. We have heard Members say that it is a more dangerous place now that the Soviet Union has collapsed. This House floor may be the only place where we have nostalgia for the good old safe days of a heavily armed Soviet Union because apparently people felt more secure then.
Mr. Frank, you are a horse's ass.

This paragraph from her profile on ABC News pretty much sums it up:
In the House, Lee took part in a citizens delegation to Cuba tour and came back convinced that the U.S. embargo against Cuba should be lifted. She criticized the U.S. bombing of Iraq, saying the United States has a special, urgent need to exhaust all diplomatic approaches. She opposed the impeachment of President Clinton And called the House vote on the four impeachment charges a tragic day for Americans and for the world, and called the House impeachment process a complete farce.

Good shot, TomB! We need to know who the guilty are. The blood is on his dainty hands as well. Let's see him retire to start his own little "Barney's Basement Brothel Boys Bed 'n Breakfast."
To: rightisright
Lee was elected to a seat on the Committees of Correspondence which was set up by members of the Communist Party USA. She turned over documents from the Armed Services committee to the Communist government of Grenada before the rest of congress saw them. She has always been a traitor to America. She is also close friends with Hillary Clinton.
To: TomB
All I can say is simple... REMEMBER Barney the GOOD OLD DAYS when you controlled the House and Senate and let the INTELLIGENCE FORCES be RAPED ????? I HOPE YOU rember that when your CONSTITUENTS VOTE YOU OUT come 2002!!! Are you going to call them HOMOPHOBES??? PLEASE DO!!!! That will make your leaving ALL THE MORE SWEETER!!!! I'm predicting old Maxie "the hooker" Waters is so STUPID she'll HAVE to say something DUMB!!! its in her nature!!!

To put things in historical perspective; Jeanette Rankin, a Republican from Montana, voted against going to war in 1917, then 24 years later voted against going to war in 1941.

Berkely is not a breeding ground for liberals. It is a breeding ground for anarchists and communists. It always has been. These people are not social democrats. They are hard core Trotskyites. This piece of garbarge, Lee, should be dragged out of congress and slapped.
