I understand you need to do what you do to keep your website moving in the direction you aspire, and to maintain a kind of political coherency in times like these.

When I returned to FR 4 days after 9-11 I was apprehensive of what I might find here. My fears were proven correct, it was a Jekle and Hyde transformation.

Some of this is forgivable given the situation, but there is too large a porportion that simply makes me feel I do not belong with the members here any longer. I feel Arator is right (I hardly 'know' him) -- the atmosphere here is one of Nazism, fascism and racism.

The policy of political supression you articulated is one I cannot accept, even at a time of 'war', ESPECIALLY at a time of war. It is the antithesis of American political thought.

This political mono-think scares me more than anything currently happening. It is the stuff holocausts are made of.

I hope you will attempt to loosen your policy, I hope that you will STRIVE to loosen it, but as it sits I cannot support it and I wish to disassociate myself from this forum at once.

I will be attempting to remove my membership after this post, please do it for me if I do not succeed.

This is not out of spite or dishonor. I wish this forum the best of luck in its goals, under current policy I would feel I am a disruptor more than a member, and out of respect for FR and my own sense of principles I must decline further participation.
