Jim, I just had to join the majority here and thank you for your post. When I was in radio broadcasting some of us held to the "less is more" theory in what we talked about on the air. Some prima donnas loved to hear themselves talk. But trying to say things effectively and wisely, in few words is an art. I just am very glad that you have the "guts" to speak your mind. Thanks for you post Jim. I pray that we can sustain our resolve until the scourge of terrorism is defeated.

Many different people that live in America are from ethnic groups that have originating homelands that are either minority or majority muslim in nature, but the vast majority of these people support America. In addition to your points about pulling together and being mindful of sensitve information, I hope that Free Republic will continue to encourage posters to judge all people living in America as individuals and be very careful to monitor posts that offer blanket generalizations about Americans that may have come from a muslim nation.

Sure, the USA needs to kick some middle eastern butt to address the TOP LAYER of THEY. But there is MUCH more to this, and unfortunately the REAL they who ALSO deserves the hangman's noose should be taken down as well.
