That is a great idea! On-hand water storage with no hassles and no 55 gallon drums to rotate. Who did the work and where did you find the items?

I contracted a local well company to do it. He got everything, installed it, and he will cover and support it for 1 year if anything goes wrong. For the 1,100 gallon tank, the pipes, the 3/4hp pressure pump, 1 yr. coverage, and installation I paid $1,600.

I want to use my old 55 gallon drums to store gray water and put in a system to use it for things that don't require drinking water. If you think about it, it is such a dumb idea that we all use potable drinking water to flush toilets and water outside plants.

Agreed, but as long as the pressure is up I carry no buckets...
Gray or otherwise. ;)
