Post Y2K we were given a huge supply of Provident Pantry dehydrated foods. We have been incorporating them into our meals ocassionally, but I'm trying to make them last for an emergency.

We have not seen any significant spoilage, but have seen some cans bulged. I am assuming botulism and I have discarded the cans.

Are you familiar with Provident pantry and what are your thoughts or knowledge on its shelf life?

We are not rolling in money, so I'm not prepared to pitch everything and restock.

I don't know "Provident Pantry" but in general, canned dehydrated foods have a 25-30 year shelf life!!!!

Also their "superpails" of wheat are the best way to store grains IMHO.
