Here is the list I posted right after 9/11. The first part of this post is suggestions for your year's food supply and how to buy it in a year, post #88 has the 72 hour kit. Other FR posters also aupplied many good links. My suggestion for the food is to make sure you store food you and your family will eat. And rotate it. It does take planning, but I'd sure rather be prepared than have to depend upon the government (blech) for my needs. Any questions or ideas, I'd be happy to help. One thing I am looking for right now to post for everyone is the expiration dates on canned goods.
