When someone yelled, "I can't hear you," Bush instantly shouted back, "I can hear you and the rest of the world can hear you, and all the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon." The crowd burst into a chant of "USA, USA, USA." And at that moment Bush's transformation into a war president, capable of inspiring without being eloquent, was complete. I'm one of those who thinks W is about as eloquent as a flounder, but that scene mentioned above brought me to tears. In a manner of mere days, the man has been transformed into a leader, a peoples leader, for the common man. I mean, what could be more common that a New Yawkuh? It was an awesome display that had me in tears..
