Where did Larry say anything about a "previous life?" You made that up. Mateo was telling him that his suffering was NOT due to his sins.

Here, read this again. THIS is Catholic teaching:

There is not nor ever was, in all of Scripture and Church teaching, any equation between one's sufferings and the sins of one's past life.

I agree with you on many things, but you simply don't know Catholic teaching on sin and suffering.

Frankly, your understanding of sin and suffering (along with Falwell's) is a perversion.
