What version of the Holy Bible you've ingested leads you to feel pornograpy, homosexuality, abortion and corruption are not offenses to a holy God?

If you must know, it was the exact same version that stated slaves lives are worth less than Jews, and that mixing fibers is immoral, and that women should be subserviant to men. It's the one that convinced me that The Bible was written by mortal men and not God, so I choose to use a less arbitrary standard in comprehending morality.

That is why I believe that corruption offends a just God, homosexuality does not, and porn and abortion fall somewhere in between. (Yes, I also believe there is a between.) I realize that many of you will disagree, but the freedom to do so is exactly why we live in a pluralistic America and not under the Taliban or Farwell-topia.

Point out specific passages which claim Jewish superiority? The Jews were slaves more often than not. Women submit to your husbands, husbands love your wives as christ loves the church. I see a bigger burden on men for their treatment of their wives and famalies. Mixing fibers is not immoral, it is mixing with peoples of immorality that was forbidden. God warned the Jews of mixing with people who openly welcomed sexual immorality , child sacrifice, and other deviancies. If you question the Bible as being the word of God because you feel the God of the Bible is intolerant, perhaps it is your veiw of objective truth which is scewed. As men have done for generations you can create a God to allow for human desires, this way all actions are acceptable and void of consequences, morality becomes adaptable and conformable.
