"Clinton is NOT evil incarnate, though an immoral man and an awful president. He likely is as saddened by these events as we all are."

I don't know how old you are, but I'm probably old (and wise) enough to be your father, and I say the following in a father to daughter way:

Please be careful in your own life. It is obvious that you lack the discernment neccesary to keep yourself away from dangerous people and away from dangerous situations. Keep an adult nearby.

19-year old guy.

ANd no, i would never choose to associate with the man...

I just think this is not the time to engage in partisanship. I'm willing to extend Clinton the benifit of the doubt. Not because he's a moral man-- he's clearly demonstrated that he is not by his willingness to utilize lies to get ahead-- but because he is an American who, if even only for show, is demonstrating that he, too, loves America. Why? Because it is good for america. Patriotism and nationalism, which I had feared were dead, have sprung from nowhere it seems-- even on this ultra-liberal college campus I live on! So, even if he doesnt mean what he's doing, it doesnt matter that much because it would be the right thing to do anyway.
