I'm an agnostic, and I just want to say, I have no problems with the majority of the country (President included) praying in times like these. I think as long as nobody is being forced to pray (don't know how you would do this anyway, lol... mind control, perhaps?), it is fine by me.
I personally did a lot of reflection, both mentally and spiritually this week (which I guess you might consider praying, just not in the strictly Christian sense), and a lot of talking with members of many religious and non-religious belief systems. I'm glad to say that most of us are unified as Americans, even if we can't be unified religiously.

you make being a Christian sound like a college course or something. it is simply coming in allignment with God, and his purpose for you. don't think so hard about everything, just believe and receive his grace.
