Couple examples of screwed-up thinking:
Yesterday, I was watching CNN Live right after the second jet hit the second tower. CNN was receiving public comments via on air telephone conversations.
I would like to relay two comments from two women. The first one stated that the attacks were occurring because of "The election in Florida."
The second one stated that the attacks were because "President Bush was dragging the economy down since he came into office and the attacks were occurring because Bush wanted to start a war to boost the economy."

Or, "Where do these people come from?"
I suspect that the American Public Education system produces a new crop each year.

These are the same people who want Daddy Clinton back. And, along with Arab immigrants, these are the ten per cent who don't think Bush is doing a good job.

One newsperson on Fox commented that we would have to seek permission from the Pakistanis. I don't think so.

Unfortunately a large portion of America appears to be ignorant in more way than one. :/ I can barely fathom anyone who could come to conclusions like these... but I have met them, so I know they exist.

They are in insult to everybody. They hate the USA. We get some just as bad on FR. Put them on the ship along with the rest of the vermin that we are about to run out of the country.

There is just no way people like this can comprehend that this is a result of the policies that were in force for the PREVIOUS eight years.

This is exactly what makes me sick about liberals - both before and after the attacks. They are unable to think logically, and everything is viewed through their socialist political prism. I took a look at Democratunderground.com and found a purported email from Michael Moore, snips follow:
"...In just 8 months, Bush gets the whole world back to hating us again. He withdraws from the Kyoto agreement, walks us out of the Durban conference on racism, insists on restarting the arms race -- you name it, and Baby Bush has blown it all.
The Senators and Congressmen tonight broke out in a spontaneous version of "God Bless America." They're not a bad group of singers! Yes, God, please do bless us. Many families have been devastated tonight. This just is not right. They did not deserve to die. If someone did this to get back at Bush, then they did so by killing thousands of people who DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM!
Boston, New York, DC, and the planes' destination of California -- these were places that voted AGAINST Bush! Why kill them? Why kill anyone? Such insanityS
These people make me sick.

It's Rainbow Coalition thinking at its finest. We are going to war now, and the country will need cannon fodder. It's time to bring back the draft and make riff-raff like this prove their loyalty to this country once and for all. Who knows? By war's end, they may have an inkling who our enemies are.

it is the result of an evil we have not experienced since Hitler I totally agree. Can you imagine how things might have turned out if we had gone in and just tried to capture Hitler or just send one bomb in to destroy his bunker? That strategy would have failed miserably then and that strategy failed miserable in 1998. We need to take out the whole system.
Newt said it best last nite on Fox when he stated that if a whole government needed to be replaced, then that's what we should do.(not exact quote - I'm still looking for a transcript)

I was watching Charlie Rose last night. He had a professor from one of our universities on his show. While I got in on the last portion of the discussion, the professor stated to Rose that he would like to say one more thing. Charlie told him to go ahead. He said in so many words, Now you all around here (appearing to mean the network)may all love Bill Clinton, but Clinton was a calamity in the middle east and they all thought that he and his policies were nothing but a joke.
Charlie just sat there dumb founded, but that about sums it up.

I was just channel surfing and came across NBC's Today Show. Perky Katie was interviewing Hillary. Folks, I 100% guarantee you that she's running for President in 2004. Her crap was not needed. This was a campaign speech. It was her normal sappy dross. She talked about how Chelsea is no longer in danger and Bill's visit to the site. I will now go vomit.

I think we should band together and NOT watch CNN. . . it's never a very worthy pursuit, particularly now that they use their stolen, but not very valuable, reader, Paula Zahn. Except for a wonderful golf swing, which doesn't get shown much, she's not worth a minute of our time and CNN continues to be a Corrupt News Network!
