"The CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll also found that 66 percent would be "willing to surrender some of the civil liberties guaranteed Americans in order for the government to crack down on terrorism," while 24 percent said they would not and 10 percent had no opinion."

Now that should scare the pa-jebbers out of any good freeper.

does for me that's for sure. What's that quote by ben franklin? "He who gives up a little liberty for a little safety deserves neither liberty nor safety" or something along those lines.

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin, 1759.

That poll is as phony as a three dollar bill. We don't have to give up neither Liberty, nor Security, we can keep them both.

That's what the second amendment is for. "A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." --Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

Why? 24 percent said they would not. That actually sounds pretty high to me. Betcha a freeper poll wouldn't even hit double digits.
