THE PICTURES ARAFAT IS TRYING TO BAN

Israel Television correspondent Oded Granot reported this evening that Yasser Arafat's Tanzim have kidnapped the Palestinian cameraman who shot a report for a major news agency showing Palestinians in Ramallah celebrating the attacks against the United States. The report includes footage of Palestinian Police firing their assault rifles in the air in celebration as hundreds cheer.

Granot said that the news agency was warned that the cameraman would be killed if they dared to air the item.

GAMLA has gathered together several of these pictures, along with a couple of articles on both the Paletsinian celebrations and Egyptians talking to the press about their happiness.

We all saw how Yassir Arafat - THE father of world terrorism, spoke about how bad he felt over the greatest terror attack in the history of humanity - but we also saw how his people, the Palestinains, drunk on their "victory" in Durban, South Africa, went dancing in the streets, giving out sweets, and shooting in the air, to show how happy they were.

The Palestinains wern't alone, as the article we bring below from Egypt tells us...

On the other hand - reports in the Israeli media tell us of threats that were receievd by the foreign press agencies to destroy any and all pictures and videos taken of these celebrations. That is why you will only see pictures from East Jerusalem and Lebanon below.

GAMLA will do it's best to bring more of these picture from the other cities, Bethlehem, Nablus, Hebron, Tul Karem and more of the huge celebrations that went on there last night.

Of course he's trying to ban the pictures - it adds fuel to the bloodlust of people calling for more innocents to be killed as punishment for innocents being killed. The question is which country will become the scapegoat?!

Please let the violence end here. If it turns out to be Bin Laden string him up; but don't let more civilians of any nationality die through bombing. It's barbaric no matter who fires them.

I have always thought (flame suit on) that the Palestinians had a legitimate beef with the Israelis over the settlements in Gaza and the West Bank and still believe that Israeli intransigence over removing those settlements are a major contributing factor to the failure of the various peace processes over the past 20-odd years.

That said, the world changed on Tuesday. The Palestinians rejoiced at the murder of between 10-30,000 absolutely innocent American citizens and foreigners here legally.

I have lost any sympathy I have ever had for the Palestinians' plight.

The ONLY American response that can work is to visit upon the terrorists who can be caught, and their families, complete destruction. Countries found involved should be dealt with peacefully: they should know and experience the same peace Carthage did after Scipio Africanus conquered the city: no one left alive to seek vengence, no two stones standing, salt in the earth.
