Okay, I live here in Florida, and a journalist from Daytona came on and said that details are sketchy, but they found a car that they are towing off that belongs to a former (as of June) student of Embry Riddle, it had a United (or American-it was one or the other) Airlines sticker in the back window, and I am *pretty sure* he said there was a picture of Osama bin laden in the front seat of the car--bizarre. I can't be sure, the guy was talking so fast. He said something to the effect of a picture of him and the car. Please don't flame for not knowing exactly what he said--it's my first post, be nice. I swear I am not making this up. I was hoping they were going to go back to it, but the newscast was over. I wish I had paid more attention now, I thought it was going to be more of the same. Sorry, maybe it helped. A longtime lurker, squinting at the light...

I have lived in Daytona Beach since 1977...Embry Riddle has quite a few foreign students who learn to fly here,and then go back to their country of origin...I have met quite a few thru the years playing music here in some of the clubs... a lot of middle-eastern folks who seemed to think it was neat that they get their training here,and then go back to the middle east and fly military planes....to quote one of my friends who described the practice"...come to U.S...learn to fly jets..go home kill Jews..."......kinda strange and very sad if true...after today the quote could be..."come to U.S....learn to fly jets...hijack American planes...and kill Americans on own soil"....

Suspicious Car May Have Ties to Hijacking

The FBI is said to be investigating a suspicious car found Tuesday near Daytona Beach. Eyewitness News has learned that an employee of Airport Storage called police to report the car.

They were concerned that the car, which was left there, had what appeared to be a picture of Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden and a United Arab Emirates emblem in the back window.

Police had the car towed. They say it was registered to a man who was a student at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University until June of this year. Neither the school nor the FBI would comment on the case.

However, ABC News has learned that multiple search warrants are being served throughout the United States in connection with the hijacking investigation, including some in Florida.
