Akamai Technologies, a Boston-based Internet infrastructure company, has confirmed that its co-founder was on board one of the hijacked flights that crashed into New York's World Trade Center on Tuesday.

My husband had met Danny Lewin a few times through his job. My husband even got ipo shares of akamai when they went public. Sad to hear that Danny was one of the ones who died, although I personally never met him, I did hear his name around here from time to time before my husband changed jobs. I'm also saddened to hear about Barbara, as someone said, it all seemed surreal till you started hearing names of people you know.
