Only if our namby pamby Congress says so. I shudder to think about the debate going on there...
I'm sure there were plenty of little schoolkids taking their little field trips to the New York area... I sure hope not though.
Our beautiful WA Republican congresswoman Jennifer Dunn was on the radio saying this is an act of war. "It's a new kind of war." She has more cojones than most congresspersons, but surely others will follow suit and declare we are at war.
But with whom?
I'd expect few schoolkids unless the NYC schools are on a vastly different calendar than we are here in PA. Our boys just returned to school last week. There's no way that our school could get organized for field trips this quickly, what with permission slips, organizing chaperones, transportation, etc. Hopefully that's true of NYC-area schools as well.
