Hindsight is 20/20 and hopefully we’re all smarter now. Back then we never even heard the phrase “Never let a crisis go to waste.”
I passed an MRAP with ‘POLICE’ printed on it the other morning. It’s a small New England town where people still leave their doors unlocked at night. Other than the occasional acts of vandalism agains mailboxes when the school year is ending, there’s little crime, but nearly everyone is armed or a hunter of some sort. Makes you wonder why the cops are getting all gear queer suddenly.
