The simple fact is too many middle eastern countries are willing to hide, and or support terrorism

The fact is, we rely on too many middle eastern countries for oil. We piss them off too much, we get no oil. Without oil the USA collapses.

And when we don't buy their oil, when we blockade their ports, when we target their derricks and oil distribution systems, they eat sand ... if not worse.

Would seem that it's time to engage in our own energy production and forget about supplies from the Arab world. Seems reasonable to me. We got plenty of oil in the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, hell, there's a lot of it offshore of California (time to open up that area).
