I didn't realize that a reply to a year old post, would put this into Breaking News. I guess that it caused a little pucker time in some Freeper households.

There is enough bad news floating around today without people believing that there were more plane hijackings. It is interesting though re the replies that noted this accidental breaking news was a good wake up call.

Not to mention that AF1 usually has a military escort flying with it and most certainly would if there were any kind of emergency. Any highjackers looking to ram AF1 would have been blown out of the sky before they got close enough for a visual.

As I review the replies of our fellow Freepers on 9/11/01, besides the honest heartbreak, I'm amazed at how on target many of them were in the early minutes of this mass murder last year.

This is why we come to Free Republic for the real news and real imput from our fellow Freepers.

Did you catch Peter Jenning on TV last night interviewing all those Pakistanis who believe that 9/11 was the work of jews and not bin laden or arabs of any kind? He looked stunned, like all this hate and stupidity were a sudden revelation to him. I wish I could have reached into the TV and slapped him silly. We knew this a year ago. The main-stream media is just now catching on to the fact that most of the Arab world is filled with ignorant, hate-filled nuts that want to see the United States and Isreal destroyed. What a moron.

And if thats enough to tempt some destitute Arab to drop a grenade in Osama's shorts, then make it more more. Its also time to go after these punks with the full weight of the U.S. military - international borders be damned. If Afghanistan wants to shelter this prick, then they should be given one warning of the consequences and then slapped aside!
